Our mission at Guesser is to foster a community of people predicting the future by connecting them to the markets where they can invest in the outcomes of real world events. The markets currently available in our website and the smart contracts that compose them are live on the Ethereum blockchain, which acts as a decentralized public ledger of cryptocurrency transactions. The open source software that enables these peer to peer markets to exist, be traded and settled is developed by the Augur project.
We believe in a future where cryptocurrencies such as bitcoin or ether are commonly used to engage in commerce, business and other types of financial relationships. A very important part of getting there is creating products that are so good and simple to use that users forget they are dealing with decentralized currencies.
Guesser is leading these efforts in our space with a product that lets people participate in open markets with just 3 clicks. We launched our first mainnet release on January 30th, 2019.
Guesser is a user interface that facilitates access to prediction markets to users outside of the USA, Cuba, Congo, Crimea, Burundi, Iran, Iraq, Ivory Coast, Lebanon, Libya, Nicaragua, North Korea, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, Yemen, Zimbabwe.
Guesser does NOT hold custody of any customer funds and will never ask its users for access to their cryptocurrency wallet private keys, nor any of its employees, through the guesser.com website or any of the official communication channels.
